Our Oilcloth is GENUINE!

Anna Marino backyard entertaining handmade handmade in philadelphia home oilcloth patio picnic summer tablecloth waterproof wipeable

Did you know the back of flannel-backed vinyl tablecloths (deceitfully called “oilcloth”) is a disposable material and may not last you the summer? Our oilcloth here at Freckled Sage is 100% genuine! That means the back of our tablecloths is a poly-cotton scrim, which is wipe-able, waterproof, and won't slide around. Take a look below at the poly-cotton scrim of our genuine oilcloth, shown here in Mum Green!

The textured grid is designed especially to keep your tablecloth from sliding or moving around. Our genuine oilcloth products will not fall apart and both sides are easy to clean. Unlike the flannel backing, you can even clean the back of our oilcloth with scrubbing disinfecting wipes. Need help choosing a size and print? The GENUINE oilcloth experts at Freckled Sage can help!

Is your oilcloth actually made in the US?

    Thank you for your time

I’m searching for genuine oilcloth that was used for the seats on ice cream parlor chairs. I do not want vinyl or other harmful material. I am trying to restore my mother’s set to it’s original state. I’m hoping I’ve found the right fabric.

I am looking for genuine oilcloth because I don’t want plastics.
Your backing your tablecloths with poly-cotton means I can’t use your products.
